This will be interesting, the Portuguese government is going to try today and get an austerity budget through their Parliament, although this is doubtful given that the current government is a minority one- the opposition is committed to opposing the cuts, thus triggering a general election and more widely another Euro crisis. But will the EU overlords and Germany take any notice or change, if the people of Portugal return a government opposed to the EU enforced cuts,which are really there to save German, British and other Northern European banks?.

What was not in the Budget.The winter fuel allowance for old folks was cut by £100 and £50.
The reason I found out was that Nick Clegg didnot know until speaaking on the radio. Just proves that we have a Tory Government by the back door!
Clegg is reported to be changing the name of his party? You would have to be a looney to vote for them again.
Clegg must have gone to make the tea when this was decided.
EU-Governments' propaganda about euro and billions they need, our money. Euro monetary unit will fall or it will cost billions of euros.

The Swedish government was responsible for the most iron ore the Nazis received. Kiruna-Gällivare ore fields in Northern Sweden were all important to Nazi Germany.
These massive deliveries of iron ore and military facilities from Sweden to Nazi Germany lengthened World War II. Casualties of the war have been estimated at 20 million killed in Europe. How many of them died due to Sweden's material support to Nazi Germany, is not known.
